Since book “Awakening the Pharaoh” was completed (in 2005) research was initiated at the Hawara Necropolis area as a cooperation agreement between the University of Cairo (Department of Archeology) and the University of Wroclaw in Poland. Hawara is known as the site where so called ‘mud brick pyramid” is situated. Many egyptologists believe that this is the area where the Great Labyrinth (described by Herodotus) might be hidden. One of the goals of this research was to verify this hypothesis. It also has a connection with theory of the year 2012 events.
